New York, NY (FEBRUARY 5, 2019) – Wicked Cushion, LLC announced today that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Kristin Swartzlander and her DirtyMouth Communications (DMC) platform to continue growing the Wicked Cushion offerings and serving the dirt racing industry. Through this strategic partnership, Wicked Cushion and DMC will combine their existing marketing products and services onto the Wicked Cushion platform. New and exciting initiatives will be announced as the service offerings are integrated and the platform is updated.
“We see the expertise that Kristin brings from outside the racing industry as well as her deep knowledge of the dirt racing market as an asset to growing the Wicked Cushion brand,” said Matthew Henninger, founder of Wicked Cushion. “The drivers, leagues and facilities on our platform, in addition to the brands, companies and products we connect with the motorsports industry will certainly benefit from this partnership.”
Kristin and DMC have provided drivers, dirt track facilities and event promoters with advanced training and services for the marketing, public relations and social media aspects of motorsports. Some of her past and current clients include the Dirt Classic Presented by Kasey Kahne, the World of Outlaws 49er Gold Rush Classic by Brad Sweet and over forty (40) racing facilities including but not limited to Sharon Speedway, Carolina Speedway and the famous Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, California. Functionally, Kristin will continue to serve the current DMC facility and event clients with the exacting service that she is known for, while driver / racing team marketing products and services will be expanded by combining the current Wicked Cushion efforts. More information about these products and services will be made available on the Wicked Cushion website shortly.
Prior to founding DMC, Swartzlander worked in the public relations departments of the San Francisco 49ers and the Arena Football League, and served as an account executive at Pittsburgh-based advertising agencies. Additionally, Kristin has been a track promoter in Western Pennsylvania and family has even owned a speed shop serving the dirt track racing community. She is the fourth generation in a line of Western Pennsylvania dirt track drivers and currently is the co-owner of the championship-winning #11 Carl Bowser Racing sprint car team. Kristin is a graduate of the prestigious Columbia University in New York City, where she received a degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research.
“I have been fortunate enough to work with drivers, tracks and events across the country since founding DMC and I see endless potential for growth within the industry.” Swartzlander said. “Matthew and I have been looking for way to increase both of our companies’ impact while expanding our reach, and combining our efforts and expertise seems like the perfect way to do that. I’m excited for what the future holds for the Wicked Cushion platform.”
